Sorry for not posting as often. Final year took my life 😛
What a hectic month it has been. So for those who don’t know, I’m in my final year studying Computer Science and for the past few months I have been working on my final year project which was due last Monday. It wasn’t a small thing, no… It spanned the whole year and was worth 3 of the 8 modules of my final year. I ended up writing random stuff for around 104 pages (15,000 characters) but like the story of every student I know – left it too late and it wasn’t the best piece of work I could have submitted. For the past month and a bit I was in uni from 9am to 8pm every day and still wasn’t getting much work done.
So my final year project revolved around making an iOS application that would be able to track a user inside a building. So similar to GPS but indoors – I call it Indoor Positioning. The technology for indoor positioning is very new and not many companies provide this service therefore I took the challenge of figuring out the problem and providing a solution for it. This was one of the biggest challenges I took forward during my degree and I consider it one of my biggest achievements to date, but I am not happy. I could have dedicated much more time to it and maybe have a product at the end of it which would/could/should have been much better. But oh well, it is done and handed in.
I would really like to thank each and every single person that helped me throughout my final year project. Every single one who filled in that survey in September, or proof read my reports before the deadlines or just gave me motivation to go on and do my best. I really really appreciate it.
Peace out! ✌????
